The space
Ohineumeri Shearers’ Quarters were built in 1948 and renovated in 2015. The essence of the rustic building has been retained and modern furniture, bedding and linen used to provide maximum comfort during your stay.
Guest access
With permission of the landowner guests are able to walk over the 760 hectare working sheep and beef farm.
Other things to note
The Shearers’ Quarters are located in the heart of Ohineumeri farm. During weekdays there may be early morning wake up calls as the motorbikes go past the accommodation for mustering or a mob of sheep are brought into the yards.
Additional rules
Guests are expected to behave in a respectful manner and be aware of health and safety on farm at all times. Dogs are allowed if they are up to date with vaccinations, stock friendly and under supervision at all times. No smoking inside.
